CBSE 2025 Recruitment Overview

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam city intimation slips for its 2025 recruitment drive for Superintendent (Group B) and Junior Assistant (Group C) posts. Candidates can now check their allocated exam cities for the exam scheduled on April 20, 2025.

Vacancy and Eligibility Criteria

Superintendent (Group B)

  • Vacancies: 142
  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Age Limit: Up to 30 years
  • Selection Process:
    • Tier 1: Objective screening (qualifying)
    • Tier 2: Descriptive + Objective
    • Skill Test: Typing

Junior Assistant (Group C)

  • Vacancies: 70
  • Eligibility: 12th pass from a recognized board
  • Age Limit: Up to 27 years
  • Selection Process:
    • Tier 1: Objective test
    • Skill Test: Typing

How to Check Your Exam City

  1. Go to the CBSE Recruitment Portal.
  2. Click on “CBSE Recruitment 2025: View Examination City Detail”.
  3. Enter your registration number and password.
  4. Note your exam city, shift, and reporting time.

Note: This is only an intimation slip. The admit card will be available on April 18, 2025.

Downloading Your Admit Card

From April 18, 2025, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official CBSE portal.
  2. Click on the admit card download link.
  3. Log in with your credentials.
  4. Download and print the admit card.

Important: Carry your admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam center.

Junior Assistant (Tier 1)

  • Mode: Offline (OMR)
  • Questions: 100
  • Total Marks: 300
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark per wrong answer
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Subjects: GK, Reasoning, Language, Computer, School Education Awareness

Superintendent (Tier 1)

  • Mode: Offline (OMR)
  • Nature: Qualifying (not counted in final score)
  • Subjects: General Awareness, Reasoning, Language Proficiency, Computer Knowledge
